Meet Trey
Construction has never been just a career for me—it's something I've always enjoyed. I founded Clever Creek Construction in 2017 with one simple goal: build projects the right way and treat every client the way I'd want my own family to be treated. Since then, I've had the privilege of helping homeowners throughout Middle Tennessee build custom homes, transform existing spaces, and create outdoor living areas where families can make memories for years to come. Whether it's a new custom home, a major renovation, or a covered porch, I believe every project deserves the same attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and honest communication. As the owner of Clever Creek Construction, I stay personally involved throughout every phase of the project—from the first conversation and budgeting process to the final walkthrough. My goal is to make construction as straightforward and stress-free as possible by being transparent, dependable, and accessible every step of the way. To me, building is about more than lumber and concrete. It's about creating a place where families gather, children grow up, holidays are celebrated, and memories are made. That's a responsibility I don't take lightly, and it's why I approach every project with the same care and commitment I'd expect for my own home.
Koen Guess
As part of the next generation of Clever Creek Construction, Koen Guess is learning the trade while helping deliver quality craftsmanship on every project. He enjoys working alongside the team and takes pride in seeing each job come together from start to finish.
Pole barns are Koen's favorite projects because he enjoys watching a building take shape from the ground up. He is committed to working hard, paying attention to the details, and treating every client's property with care and respect.
Project Manager
Kyra Guess
As Project Manager at Clever Creek Construction, Kyra Tuck oversees projects from planning to completion. She works closely with homeowners, coordinates subcontractors, manages schedules, and helps ensure every project is completed with the quality, communication, and attention to detail that clients expect.
Kyra enjoys building strong relationships with clients and takes pride in helping bring their vision to life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and is passionate about physical fitness.
